Visitors and the guard house

Available [DATE]

No more “hold on, let me call the guard”

Your neighbor announces who’s coming over WhatsApp. Portalis sends the visitor a pass with a code. The gate scans it, and the neighbor gets notified they’ve arrived.

  1. The neighbor gives notice

My sister Laura is coming by tomorrow around 5

Got it. Should I send Laura the pass on WhatsApp, or would you rather forward it?

No form, no logging in anywhere. You write it the way you’d text a friend.

  2. The visitor gets their pass

Single-use, with an expiration time. If the visitor forwards it, it no longer works.

  3. They arrive, and the neighbor finds out

    Valid pass

    Your visitor just arrived.

Nobody calls anybody. And if there’s ever a problem, there’s a written record of who let them in and when.

Why it matters who let them in

The guard house tablet never logs out, and shifts change. Every guard signs in with their own PIN, so the log says who let whom in — not “the guard house”.

And the guard only ever sees a name and a unit. Never a balance, never a phone number.

  • Book the palapa

They ask what is free, book it and get their confirmation. The deposit lands on their statement by itself.
